World Cavity-Free Future Day 2025

On October 14, we mark World Cavity-Free Future Day — a global awareness day launched by the Alliance for a Cavity-Free Future to spotlight the importance of preventing tooth decay and promoting good oral health for all.

This year’s theme, inspired by the World Health Organization (WHO), is:

“No Health Without Oral Health”

Key Focus Areas for WCFFD 2025:

  1. Promote oral health in schools, care homes, workplaces, and more.
  2. Brushing twice daily and flossing regularly.
  3. Adapt care for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
  4. Reduce sugary products and tobacco/alcohol

Let’s work together for a cavity-free future — because there’s truly no health without oral health.

Brushing twice daily, in the morning and the evening for 2 minutes each time. Thorough brushing is required to completely remove plaque bacteria form around the teeth and gums. To clean effectively between the teeth dental floss helps and interdental narrow brushes.

Developing good oral cleaning routines for children provides a good basis for heath throughout life. Establishing healthy eating habits at a young age has many health benefits including teeth and gums.
