World Cancer Day 2022, February 4th

Every year A World Cancer Day promotes preventive measures and ways to improve managing Cancer

The Website: https://www.worldcancerday.org/  contains many informative articles and a “Challenge” for those keen to do practical things towards reducing Cancer.

There are 3 options including a 21 day challenge to eat healthier, exercise and move more  and living thoughtfully.

Oral Cancer still has a poor prognosis due to a late diagnosis in many cases.

A regular dental check up includes review of soft tissues which enables early detection of any changes. Also noting any smoking habit, alcohol intake and fresh fruit and veggies intake and herpes infections as risk factors for oral cancer.
