Recycle your oral care product packaging at New Horizons Dental

At New Horizons Dental, we have joined up with TerraCycle and Colgate® becoming actively involved in recycling. Plastic pollution is a concern for everyone and we are more determined and more focused on recycling to help save the planet.

ACCEPTED WASTE:

Toothpaste tubes and caps

Floss containers

Toothbrushes

Electric toothbrush heads

Toothbrush and toothpaste tube outer packaging

What happens to the waste?

Once collected, the tubes and brushes are separated by composition, shredded and melted into hard plastic that can be remoulded to make new recycled products.

Drop-off location

New Horizons Dental reception is the nearest drop-off location for Port Douglas, giving the community and patients the opportunity to drop off their waste for recycling more conveniently.
